How AgencyVerity separates facts from promises

Three simple rules guide the whole site: show the source, separate who says what, and never decide for you.

Our three rules

Always the source

Every skill an agency claims links to a document, and every point of a quote to its exact sentence.

Who says so?

What an agency says about itself is not worth the same as a client confirming it.

No verdict

No ratings, no rankings, no “best agency”: you stay the judge.

What the agency labels mean

Confirmed by a client
A client confirms the agency did it on a specific project.
Agency’s own claim
The agency says so, but no other source confirms it.
Contradicted
A document says the opposite: ask the agency to clarify.
Doesn’t offer it
The agency says it does not offer this at the moment.

For your project

Proof found
A client confirms the agency has done it on a specific project. It is not a guarantee for yours.
Agency’s own claim
The agency says so, with no other source. Ask for a concrete example.
To check
No document allows a conclusion, or a document contradicts the claim. It doesn’t mean the agency can’t do it.
Doesn’t offer it
The agency says it does not offer this at the moment.

How an agency is checked

  1. Identity: we check that the business exists (Québec enterprise register) and that the person listing it represents it.
  2. Claims: what the agency says it can do is shown as “Agency’s own claim”.
  3. References: we write to the named client ourselves. If they confirm the work in writing, the point becomes “Confirmed by a client”.
  4. Disagreement: if a client contradicts the agency, both versions are shown, without judgement.

For a quote

Read sentence by sentence

Every commitment is noted with the exact sentence: prices, options, exclusions, conditions, dates, support, handover.

Ownership and access kept apart

Owner, account holder, admin access, technical access and handover are five different questions.

“Written in the quote” means the quote says it, not that it is checked or legal. The tool can be wrong: always check the source sentence.

What we don’t do

  • Rank agencies or rate them
  • Sell an agency a better place
  • Tell you whether to sign a quote
  • Replace a lawyer or an accountant
